A PhD candidate is no novice to her/his profession, and one of the most important reasons to embark on such an experience is to raise their skills to the highest academic level. Candidates, therefore, generally already arrive with considerable knowledge about their professions and the job market. They greatly contribute to intellectual debates about job opportunities, technological and other evolutions in their fields, and their future impact on education and employment.
UPEACE Job Fairs will capture this unique opportunity and organise a Job Fair series with substantive issue debates and job interviews. The Fairs will count on the support and participation of donors from prospective hiring institutions from Governments, international Governmental and non-governmental organisations, and the private sector.
